sweet and creamy coconut almond mylk

sweet and creamy coconut almond mylk
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups almonds (soaked 6-8 hours and rinsed very well)
1/4 cup chopped dates
2 tablespoons coconut butter
1/2-1/4 inch fresh organic vanilla bean
1. soak almonds in water 6-8 hours.
2. place the almonds in the blender with fresh water, dates, and salt. blend on high for up to two minutes.
3. strain with nut milk bag or cheesecloth. save the leftover pulp for another recipe or place on dehydrator until crisp to make almond flour.
4. place mylk back in blender, add coconut butter and blend.
5. store with a glass jar, in the fridge up to four days.
