another sweet, crunchy, protein, superfood-filled treat that is willing to help jumpstart your day! it is known that a substantial breakfast is very important in order to give you the endurance and stamina needed for a productive day, whether you are working, playing or just plain being. honey nut almond mondos are quite similar to the traditional honey nut cheerios that filled many of my mornings as a youngster. they are a raw, living, wheat and gluten free option that are very easy to make at home. pour over sweet and creamy coconut almond mylk or superfood frenzy hemp milk for complete satisfaction.
honey nut almond mondos
2 cups soaked and dehydrated almonds
2 tablespoons raw organic active manuka honey
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1. place almonds in the food processor and run for a few seconds. place in bowl.*
2. stir in sea salt and honey until well mixed.
3. place on paraflexx dehydrator sheets @110 degrees for 16-18 hours.
*step 1 if you do not have access to a food processor this step can be completed using a knife as well.
