keep it simple kale salad

keep it simple salads (kiss) are salads that require few ingredients, little time and make a big fatty deposit in your health savings account. kale salad is the first one coming your way as it’s an easy go-to of mine. the preparation for this kiss is identical to the prep for the basic kale chip minus the use of the dehydrator. known to be a bit of an animal when kale is present, i’m unable to help myself because anyway that it is prepared, it seems to be all i need. what can i say? when i’m in, i’m in.

kale salad

1 head of kale, any style

2 tablespoons hemp seeds

1 tablespoon cold pressed extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice

1/8 teaspoon sea salt or more to taste

1. tear leaves of kale into 2-3 inch squares and place in a bowl.

2. add olive oil, lemon juice and salt. massage well.

3. stir in hemp seeds and serve. makes 2-4 servings.

I LOVE kale… I love to put it in soups in the colder months and have it as a salad base in the warmer months. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes!

There is a need for different choices and tastes when it comes to salads. This site gives me that and I love throwing in lime over lemon.
