living chocolate frosting

let’s face it, chocolate tastes great on just about everything with the exception of maybe cabbage. if you have ever experienced a sweet tooth, in many cases, frosting is a necessity and at times there is an irresistible force that compels one to consume more than one should. used here is a locally made 100% cacao bar from life opening chocolates. it’s dairy free, soy free, gluten free, contains no refined sugar and has aptly been named naked cacao. so indulge away! in making the frosting it is easily adjustable to your dietary needs or plain old desires. when looking for a very bitter chocolate, do not add the honey and when looking for a hi-raw, vegan frosting add maple syrup or the sweetener of your choice. personally, i flow through phases of using maple syrup and others using honey. recently, i’ve been living in my active manuka honey phase. which ever way you choose to go, you’ll find a frosting with many uses.
