raw vegan pizza crust recipeif you find you have been avoiding movie night with friends because the pizza is too tempting and you swore you’d never eat another piece, avoid no longer and make this healthy raw vegan pizza crust. made with nuts, seeds, fresh herbs and spices it makes for a great semi-thin crust pizza. cover with hurts like heaven cashew cheese spread, creamy ‘alfredo’ saucesavory seed cheese or even dairy-free ranch dressing and add your favorite toppings.

1 cup walnuts

1 cup fresh basil

1/2 cup hemp seeds

1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup dates, pitted

1/4  cup water

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon black pepper, ground

2 garlic cloves, peeled

place all ingredients in a food processor and process until a ball forms. place the dough ball between two pieces of unbleached parchment paper and flatten using a large cutting board. with a rolling pin be sure the crust is smooth and even. i usually tear off the extra parchment paper and leave underneath the crust until it’s ready to flip. as you would save the cardboard below your frozen pizza to use again, you are able to do the same with your parchment paper. dehydrate @110. flip after three hours and continue to dehydrate until crisp, about 10.5 hours. store in a glass container.
