homemade raw vegan ranch dressing
ranch dressing, which is loved by adults and children, is a very common dip for vegetables, chips and wraps. it also makes for a great salad dressing to top your greens. homemade raw vegan ranch dressing tastes like the ranch dressing i remember but lacks the mayonnaise, buttermilk or sour cream many recipes will call for. it is also nut-free for those of you working around nut allergies! this is a healthy version of america’s favorite sauce and homemade raw vegan ranch dressing is a cinch to make, enjoy!
raw vegan ranch dressing

3/4 cup sunflower seeds, soaked 4-6 hours and rinsed well

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 garlic clove, peeled
place every thing except the dill in a blender and blend until smooth. pour into a larger bowl and stir in dill. reserve in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator. keeps about one week.
**feel free to add a dollop of honey, coconut nectar or maple syrup to make it a little more palatable for those of you with little ones looking for a ranch dressing alternative
Could you use tahini for the sunflower seed part?
